@LoveAM Did you find out anything about why your major changed to GV last week and what the hold was on updates on AIS about your decision?
Questions to admissions about when they update are all over the place. I was told at one point that AIS doesn’t update everyday, and when students recognize this they will be less frustrated!! But now it’s down to the wire, so they’re updating daily I’m sure.
I also had things change during the day and at night. It seemed that AIS and Howdy changed independently in day time and synched together at night. I am positive that some things changed in the daytime because during the day in late January I never went an hour or two without checking, and I know for a fact that mine also changed at about 3 am on a Tues / Thurs night update because I watched it all night until it synched.
So I got some email about a Psa informational session but ais and howdy are still in review. Guess I got Psa.
Me too. Does that mean I got PSA or am I still able to be admitted into my major?

I think it’s only for people who got PSA. It says, "Howdy!
According to your admission status, you have been offered PSA. "
@fmfmfm I know, but I’m probably stuck between Full admission or PSA (atleast based on my knowledge), and I don’t know what to think… I’m guessing there’s a 50/50 chance of me getting full admission. I’m just really stressed out. Did your Howdy change by any means?
My howdy still says my application is in review. That’s why I’m a little confused.
@GustafAngus hang in there. I have my fingers (still) crossed for you. Do you have any feel whether you are high or low in the 2nd Q? Your SAT / ACT is solid! Hopefully they will see the same potential that Clemson saw.
Howdy will remain in review for several days, even when you accept your offer. My Howdy status just updated last night around 9:30 to admitted.
So based on that email, the final decision for me is PSA?

@hoping4admit i know nothing about my rank. I am OOS, because I am a US Citizen (born in VA), but I live in Europe in Slovenia. My school doesn’t rank. Based on my GPA (4.1/5.0) they gave me the 2nd Quarter rank. So there’s no way for me to know this… I’m holding on to my last hopes now…
@GustafAngus My high school did not rank so the way admissions told me they calculated is they put in what my high school sent for a profile- I think the top 10% cutoff for my school (in state so known) and some other unknown information (maybe the valedictorian’s GPA?,grading scale?) and it spits out a number. I thought I was 1Q but AIS said 2nd. When I called they clarified that AIS said a Q, but they have a number. I guess your school sent some sort of profile that they used. 4.1 / 5.0 does not seem shabby. Still hoping for you.
AIS only updates overnight but Howdy changes during the day. Your Howdy manage application may show any changes before AIS does.
My son was offered PSA yesterday. It updated in AIS sometime between 2pm & 5pm. His “request major change” button disappeared in Howdy the day before he was offered PSA. Nothing else ever changed until they updated his AIS to say “You’ve Been Offered the Program for System Admission (PSA)” yesterday afternoon.
He applied in October and was in review since then. Major choices were mechanical engineering or aerospace engineering. He had a 3.1 GPA & approx. 1200 on SAT & 27 ACT with lots of extra curricular & volunteer activities. I just spoke with an admissions advisor and PSA is not recommended for engineering transfer as “change of curriculum” is not an easy process once he transfers to TAMU-CS after successfully completing the 1st year at a PSA school. He is meeting with us to advise us on general transfers either from Blinn or other colleges.
It seems that everyone is posting PSA notices yesterday. Anyone get anything else?
@hoping4admit my school doesn’t have a profile. Nobody goes to study outside of Slovenia, and if someone does, it’s usually within Europe, where the system is basically the same and so the profile would be basically useless. And they probably didn’t contact my school, seeing as every mail my counselor got she told me about it and asked me what to do lol. I don’t know, we’ll have to wait and see.
I’m in the same boat as @GustafAngus. My change major button is gone on both howdy and AIS and I haven’t gotten an email about PSA… Blinn team isn’t on my howdy yet so I’m really going between what I got. This sucks, having to wait like this. I swear I’m getting grey hairs already.
@TrumpetMel What’s your major? I am engineering, so I am either waiting for Howdy to change to GEN ENG or whatever general engineering is, or I’m gonna get the mail about PSA. good luck! 
My major is History, second is Interdisiplinary studies (education) so yeah, not a very fought over major(: and good luck to you too!!
