I joined the class of 2020 Villanova chat like 3 days ago. How effective is it with making friends? I know I’m really late on joining and it seems the people on it who talk are really close already but can I find friends if I talk? Idk if I should even bother because it seems the ppl have been there for a while and are already friends 
i read they’re already making plans to go places once school starts. I just hope I’m not going to be alone while everyone else has friends in the fall.
My S joined the chat too but barely checks it. Don’t overthink it. There will be plenty of new students who haven’t made any connections before they get to campus. Look at it as a new adventure. You will be fine. Enjoy the rest of your senior year and have a relaxing summer!!!
Don’t over-stress, you’ll be fine. Just post random questions in the chat and get to know people. I used it a bit over the summer before my freshman year and made quite a few friends through it. You will also make a ton of friends during the orientation weekend before classes start in the fall (the awkward luau was a ton of fun too and you will meet a lot of people there).
