I’m not sure why you think schools such as the University of Rochester, Wake Forest University, Bard Berlin, Occidental College, Boston University, NYU AD or NYU Shanghai are “trivial” and not “flaunt worthy”. Anyways, I do not think the purpose of CC is to brag about the college we got into or to compete with Rato Bangala.

Do you know who from RBS got in Hamilton RD recently?
@olennatyrell Do you know what I have been doing since the last nine months in this thread? The first thing I do after waking up in the morning is open my laptop and check this thread for updates on college acceptances. Everyday there are new acceptances which are added in the list below the list from the previous day. That way, I can view the acceptances of the day at a glance. But if you arrange the list in alphabetical order, I am sure you can now imagine how difficult, burdensome and tedious it would be to extract the updates of the day. Only the guy who entered the data would know it with ease.
I agree arranging the list in alphabetical order makes it easy for future applicants and other concerned bodies but right now it is not the time and place to do it. After all the decisions roll in then you can yourself do the honours and arrange the list alphabetically which would make it beneficial for everyone later on. Do you agree with me? @Xenonex
@Xenonex Did you also apply EA at Bennington College? Also did you send any extra documents for your wait list? May I know what your stats are like?

Updates to the list of college acceptances are usually preferred to be posted in chronological order, making it convenient for users who follow the thread on a regular basis; as opposed to having to go through the entire list to spot differences from previous posts. It’s that simple.

I don’t think anyone got into Williams this year… The person from RBS who got into Vanderbilt and Amherst has also been waitlisted by Williams.
Thank you @ayahuasca7 for the explanation. As I mentioned, I have also followed it regularly, which I assume is also the case for other parents, teachers, alumni and students who don’t post, although I have not followed it so closely as to memorize the order in which acceptances are posted. It seemed that the poster who alphabetized the list might be a teacher or administrator who was simply making the list easier to read. I found it helpful, particularly as all acceptances from colleges were grouped together. That and the names of colleges is more my interest than the order in which acceptances were received. But thank you for politely providing the reason why some readers might be fond of the non-alphabetized list.
Congratulations on all of your acceptances. I shall continue to follow the list with interest.
