I will be taking Sat this october but I’m still confused about TOEFL .When is the best time to take TOEFL?
Barron is really good too!
People say its better to practice from the blue Collegeboard book. It has more realistic questions similar to those designed by ETS.
Barrons is good for Maths section though @ilove2read . Lots of practice questions

Try asking your counselor if he can help with you toefl waiver first. Then you can decide on the date.
@alchemist9 - Yeah, it’s okay to take TOEFL at that time.
Ayeeeeee, I just found this thread. From Nepal and Class of 2020! I plan on applying Early Decision to Virginia Tech. Plan on studying Computer Engineering and plan to play lacrosse there! Great to see you guys out here.

@ilovevt So, you don’t need financial aid?
@alchemist9 try talking to your principal or the teacher helping you with the application.

how is indiana university bloomington regarding scholarships … class of 19 anyone there???
Oh, is this what we are talking about? If so, yes I will need some financial aid. Since VT is instate the fees wont be as bad as oos. I am hoping to get a couple scholarships here and there + FAFSA.
@ilovevt Are you a US citizen/ Permanent Resident? If not, you won’t qualify for FAFSA.
Yes I am a citizen, what colleges will you be applying too? @cauldroncastle
