@gummybear2016 maybe try a different browser?
@Sehaj14, Once I refresh, the usual “There is no admissions decisions at this time” message pops up. But this is the first time this has happened…
@gummybear2016 hope it means something for you!
@gummybear2016 the same thing happened to me. I’ve found that when I clear my history and then click on “View online decision” it brings me to the login page and then to a black page after logging in.
Anyone else still have financial documents showing as intiated on OPUS even when they’re completed?
@MexiWolf My IDOC packet says intiated, I submitted it a few days ago though…
Invalid login, considering I didn’t get admitted from even Bentley, congrats to everyone who can log in!
Just got one of my financial aid document as completed from initiated!
I know for sure it got changed this morning. Hoping it is a good sign.
@cchopeful2016 @Sehaj14
Sorry for scaring you! I just logged into OPUS again and everything looked normal.
According to an email that I got a few days ago, I lacked the following financial aid documents:
16-17 Verif of Num in College, 16-17 Verif of Household Size, 16-17 Student NonTaxFiler, 16-17 IRS Tax Rtn Trans Par, 16-17 Parent 2015 Tax Returns.
I checked today, and I only have three “initiated” documents (16-17 IRS Tax Rtn Trans Par, 16-17 Parent 2015 Tax Returns, and 16-17 Verif of Num in College). A good sign? Who knows.
@TrazCapDEV Oh, hey, it’s you again, my fellow Columbia rejectee and UChicago deferee. Any good news since then?
@cchopeful2016 @Sehaj14
I forgot to mentioned that I clicked “view admissions decision” but got a standard message about how it’s not ready for viewing, please check a timetable to find out when you can view the decision, thanks for your interest in Emory University, etc. etc.
where do u check all the financial aid initiated and stuff?
For what it’s worth, I’m a URM student who got in with the Essence of Emory early notification. I can log in to the admitted students site, even though my OPUS account hasn’t allowed me access to my official decision letter. Hope this helps.
Where do you go to get to the admitted students site? I can’t seem to find that on OPUS.
is there anyone else on here who can log into the website?
It’s this link: http://www.emoryadmission.com/admitted/
I can’t log in. Does that automatically mean I didn’t get in?
@dr0wning I wrote my “we can fear” essay on blood donation too haha. Do you think you could take a look at it?
By the way the ID you use is the 7-digit number on top of your OPUS page right after you log in, not the ID you use to log into OPUS
same @gq2016 i hope this doesn’t mean anything
I wrote mine on a volunteering experience at a hospital @Sehaj14 and I think as long as you were able to show what you learned/ know and connect it to something about you or a general theme overall you will be fine! I’m not really and admissions officer etc so take my opinion with a grain of salt.
@gq2016 Hmm…I’m not sure if that means you didn’t get in. It could be it just officially allows you to get in when you have your official letter of admission Wednesday. Don’t worry! (says the person who constantly worries about hopefully getting a scholarship somewhere insert nervous laughter)
@XAtlas You check on OPUS and look at your financial aid to do list.
