Just got a letter in the mail saying I got accepted! (NJ)
@whooosh when did you send in your application?
I also received an acceptance letter in the mail today. (NY)
@sailing6262 Jan 1st- RD
I was told the people that rec’d letters today are students of diversity and they are invited to meet and greet this coming weekend, which is why it was necessary to send out the acceptance letters now instead of waiting.
Are internationals also part of the diversity ish
I’m not sure about that, but since the meet and greet is being held this coming weekend it wouldn’t give international students much time to make their travel arrangements. But on the other hand, I believe the acceptance letters went out via regular mail and it will obviously take longer to be sent internationally.
Got accepted today from maryland and was invited to the Diverse Life Weekend. Does being accepted early give extra chances for merit scholarships?
Accepted today (NY) via diversity life invitation!!!
This week is SPRING BREAK. School resumes on March 21. The Admission Office will therefore be closed all of next week. If there is no news by now then there will be nothing coming out until after the break. Hold tight!
Accepted today to LEHIGH CLASS OF 2020. I am from Philadelphia, PA and I was invited to Diversity Life Weekend.
Congrats to all that were accepted. I’m still waiting to hear good news from Lehigh
We finally made it above the $60K mark!!! Congrats to the class of 2020.
Lehigh’s board of trustees approved a 4.5 percent increase in undergraduate tuition for the 2016-17 academic year.
Tuition will increase by $2,060, from $45,860 to $47,920. The total cost of attending Lehigh as an undergraduate will now be approximately $61,010 — including tuition, typical room and board charges and the undergraduate technology fee.
Is this invitation traditionally for kids with absurdly high stats? (4.0, 33/2200+)
@JDBoi78 from what i have learnt(anyone can correct me if am wrong), the invites for diversity weekend only goes to or is mainly for URM’s… Again anyone correct me if am wrong.
Mainly to increase yield of diverse students
Hmm okay. I am just wondering what my chances of getting an invitation are. I would love to know early ugh. The anxiety of all decisions is killing, even though Lehigh is one of my safer choices.
My son received an acceptance and an invitation, although he does not fit most definitions of ‘diverse.’ He is excited and planning on attending the weekend.
@nemom2 hmmmm congratulations on your son! Maybe they also use it to get their top candidates to
I received my acceptance and invitation yesterday too, although I wouldn’t consider myself “diverse.” Does anyone know what this means for my chances of getting a merit-based scholarship? I know Lehigh gives very few of those…
