@mtjones1 Wesleyan is a great school for theater.
@CTDramaMom I did minimal research on it in the beginning and kind of left it alone because I didn’t think she would end up there. I had her apply though because I had heard some good things about it. So I guess I will have to research a little more because this just became a legitimate contender.
@myhopes&dreams4u - that was us till late last night. D only had one wait list and all rejections. Got the first acceptance last night. There is hope!

@mtjones1 the google machine will help you find a several years’ old Vanity Fair item about all the Broadway and TV and Film people who come from Wesleyan. If you PM me, I’ll point you in the right direction. Of course, we know that LMM started there, did the first pass of IN THE HEIGHTS as a student project. It’s a fabulous school and I only wish one or both of my boys had shown interest in that path. Congratulations.

@hopeful1212 - We heard about MT last night from Coastal. I also saw that some Acting and Physical Theatre kids heard today. Not sure if they have sent out all offers or not…

Ok so someone tell me about this Wesleyan College…never knew about it…details please…academically selective? Do they take a super small mt group? Financially generous? Lol…it looks like it isn’t musical theatre online… Just theatre BA?
Wesleyan is an extremely prestigious and competitive LAC.
