What is happening with Elon?
D says that there have been kids posting throughout the day in The Troupe on FB that they were called with acceptances.
@musicalkid98 see the other venting board (I hate that we have 2 of them) – Elon made offers to several boys today, and one girl we know of. I don’t think Elon is done.
Lol!! I have a junior but am checking this all the time rootiing for you guys! Hope the next few days brings lots of good news!
So some Viterbo acceptances have gone out… I’ve been waiting since Chicago Unifieds. Hopefully soon for me!
Also, got denied from TCU’s BFA MT program yet received a massive scholarship from them today. Stings!
How does my d get on The Troupe? She is a Junior this year. Going thru all this craziness next year.

@Mel2421 Someone that is a member of the private group needs to add her or if she can find it by searching for “The Troupe” in Groups on Facebook she can request to be added. There is a separate group created for each class. The 2020 group is “The Troupe”, the 2019 group is “The Ensemble” and the 2018 group is “The Unified” There are kids from other years in all those groups so she can definitely request to join the 2020 group if she wants.
I’m assuming a rejection from Viterbo at this point, as they haven’t notified me of anything and I auditioned in Chicago
@MomIsSupportive The Theatrical Studies Option at Ball State (or TSO, as it is known) is a strong BA program in its own right. TSO’s take more Gen Eds and I think they have a voice class instead of voice lessons. I don’t think they take the music classes like piano, sight singing and musicianship. The TSO’s can audition for all of the shows. As for reauditioning, from what my daughter has told me (she is an MTO) about thirty kids reauditioned and I think they only took one girl and a few guys for MT, maybe a few more for the Acting Option. My D loves BSU. Send me a personal message if you would like more details.
@allthatjazz12345 people are still waiting from chicago, and one girl who was got accepted today. They’re not using any rhyme or reason it seems.

Rejection from Wagner today. This one stung a bit as it was my favorite school. Did recieve a Music scholarship though, so thats a nice touch. They are also very generous with Merit money so I will be looking into their associated majors.
Sorry @gmo913 that is one of my daughter’s favorites for next year. We are waiting to hear if she got into The Summer Musical Theatre Intensive there. She is a Junior. Congrats on the Merit money! That is awesome!

Did all the rejections and accepts happen at Wright? We are still waiting. Know they said they sent them snail mail on Monday and Tues but I’m wondering if anyone got info from email.
