CLASS OF 2021 FROM NEPAL

@Freshuate Didn’t @THEKOPBAV apply ED/EDII? Doesn’t that mean he’ll have to attend Vassar and withdraw his applications from elsewhere?

He(she) could break the ED agreement if sufficient aid won’t be provided to him(her). But,as he(she) almost got a free ride, he(she) will prolly’ go to Vassar. That was stupid of me haha

I’m attending Vassar and withdrawing other applications which included a few ivies too.

Is anyone applying to Tufts in the ED2 round considering that a person from RBS has already gotten in ?

the moment when you see other guys’ scores, extra curricular activities and suddenly realize that you did nothing except “baal hanne” these 18 19 years.

Guys for a foreign student colleges expect something more than just grades and ecas.

@heydudekid like? Could you elaborate?

Anyone knows about applicant who was accepted by Lafayette?

Did anyone get shortlisted to the Yale NUS interview?

Does anyone know when will UNION reply about decisions for ED2? and has anyone applied ED2 ?

I did for a Yale NUS interview. Can we know how many people got shortlisted and @Permeltwat did you? What are your stats?

Union’s website shows that the decisions come out by feb 6th @teselga

Anyone who graduated last year applying from HSEB? If so, what do we do about the mid-year report that colleges ask for? I sent my transcripts to my counselor a long time ago, but only the school report and counselor recommendation have been marked as submitted. The mid-year report, optional report, and final report are all unsubmitted. What should I do about that?

@ramshailee you don’t have to submit any of those, if you’ve already sent your transcript.
Just email the college that you’ve already graduated high school. Well, that’s what I did so

@yochill2021 Yeah, I was thinking the same. But I recently got this (probably automated) email from a university I applied to, an excerpt of which is:

“If you have already graduated from secondary school, and have completed any school-leaving exams, you should assure that your counselor submits the Final Report instead of a Midyear Report.”

That had me a bit worried because in my common app, only the school report and counselor recommendation are shown as submitted. Does your common app state “final report” as submitted?

This whole stressful process is eating me from the inside. I guess I’m just getting irrationally paranoid haha.

My counselor has also only submitted the recommendation and school rep as well.

First term grades, midyear, and final reports have not been submitted.
@ramshailee

@ramshailee There’s nothing to worry about. I guess it kind of makes everyone get paranoid to some point. Just depends on how one deals with it haha. Yo Chill, is what I would say haha

@yochill2021 Ha! you’re absolutely right. The time now is to relax and watch some Sherlock.
