CLASS OF 2021 FROM NEPAL

@confidential17 Yeah… I do know many(if not all) OF students because they are among the best and brightest of Nepal and USEF-Nepal provides them individualised special attention in application process, essays, SAT books, etc. So I have managed to use a lot of those resources by maintaining good relation with OF friends.

@ProfessorSnape I don’t know much about ED thing. I heard from USEF that people get decision sooner than others do. But as some guys are posting that a student should attend a ED college and must withdraw from other colleges, I am amazed to see why he did not he do that. I knew that he got into Rochester when I visited USEF few weeks ago.

@mrRajin I asked you a question yesterday but you do not seem to have noticed. How many colleges did you get into? Can you share your stats?

@confidential17 Exploring all of his different posts somehow leads me to believe that @mrRajin is an OF student himself.

@confidential17 and @ProfessorSnape both of you guys seem brilliant to me! Please forgive my curious nature but I just felt like asking…have you guys got into any colleges? (I have not! :frowning:)

@mrRajin @EngimaticBoy good to hear that you have some brightest and best friends. I hope other OF students are not morally degraded as he is. I don’t think USEF advises them not to withdraw their applications once they get accepted ED. And even more what he would have learned from those individualized/special attention. Shame on him as being in OF (if what you say about the help USEF does to OF students is true.)
This is what I think @ProfessorSnape . What do you say?
@triangle77 I can not say whether he is or not but I wish OF maintains the value and respect they have now.

@confidential17 Should he have withdrawn from MIT?

@anonymous236 haha no acceptances so far. Only a few waitlists and rejections. What about you?

A guy from Budhanilkantha who later went to Hastings under Pestalozzi Scholarship has got into Duke and Babson  For people wondering about DUKE’s decision it is early notification to talented students who have been considered for other scholarships

@poorinenglish will he be considered with the Nepali applicant pool?

@anonymous236 I have not applied to any colleges. I was thinking of applying for this OF program this year, but the criticism of that guy has let me down.

I know that very talented and brilliant students get into OF, but if I get it, I don’t want my friends say, “OFs are morally down.”
What about you?? Did you get into any college?

@ProfessorSnape If what you guys are saying about ‘withdrawing application’ is TRUE, yes I say, he should have done that. And about me: I passed +2 this year and still in dilemma what to do next. Thanks for asking.

@ProfessorSnape I am sorry, I misread your comment. I thought you asked who I am so I said something about me. Nice to hear that you know me. I am sorry I don’t think I know you. And yes good luck for your college decisions.

@confidential17 No offense but not applying for OF program just bcoz u don’t want others saying “OFs are morally down” is just plain stupid mate. You should apply.

My view regarding the MIT decision
Yes, the candidate is ethically wrong in not withdrawing the RD applications after getting the ED2 acceptance. But since the candidate did not withdraw them and has now got into MIT, the condition itself has caused a great dilemma.

Should he attend MIT or correct his moral mistake and join Rochester? That’s his call. I hope whatever he chooses will work out for him. Good luck!

@anonymous236 I have got into few. But I cant say the names. Sorry mate.

@mrRajin I think you are lying! You have not got into any colleges

@ProfessorSnape I got rejections, rejections and more rejections!(Some waitlists though xD)

@anonymous236 Apparently, telling one’s SAT scores and colleges one has got into is invasion of his/her privacy;that too on college confidential, which was designed to exchange college related infos. It’s ironic.

@Freshuate You seem totally brilliant as well! But this time I won’t be asking the colleges you got into because that would be an invasion of your privacy, right? xD

@anonymous236 It turns out your thinking doesnt have any effect in anything. So think whatever you want!
