CLASS OF 2021 FROM NEPAL

Guys, is there any chance for an HSEB student with marks ranging from as high as 92(Physics) to as low as 65(Nepali) and agg.81% in an ivy league school? I have pretty good SAT’s as well, with a score in the early 1500s.

@ohboy1519 Similar applicants have gone into Ivy-League School. You never know unless you apply.

@MynameisShila Thanks!

It would be highly appreciated if anyone updated the NYUAD ED I decision as well :slight_smile: I have heard of students getting in there.

Do you guys know the stats of the girl who got into Smith?

@searching12 1400 SAT I. Grades: probably predicted A and A*

@StuckInRemission thank you.

@kidfromullens
The person who got in NYUAD from Trinity, was the person a boy or a girl ? What were his/her stats ?

Well seems like nobody is getting into top schools this ED session. Apart from NYUAD, all the other colleges aren’t as competitive as the colleges students had been accepted to last year.

Hey Cornell is an ivy…still results are yet to come out.

who is the student from SXC who got into Beloit? Are you in this thread???

@nepket Bruh? Are you telling me Smith, Cornell, and Grinnell aren’t competitive schools to get in?

@bbmhss101 No, he/she isn’t.

Did anyone get in to Hamilton College?

Damn, all you guys are so competitive applicants. I don’t see my chances anywhere now (3.92 GPA in A-Levels & 1400 SAT).
Does anyone know the stats of the one who got into Cornell?

@ANepaliOptimist SAT scores don’t really matter! Basically, it’s a screening test. All you need to do is be able to score past their minimum threshold so that they can review your application more carefully. Rest depends on your essay and your GPA. Btw, the one who got into Cornell had scored 1380(heard so) on SAT 1, pushing aside applicants from Nepal having an almost 1500ish score and a perfect GPA.

I hope that you can make sense of how important the SATs are.
