@hailtopitt1787 my daughter applied to Pitt main and it is her dream school. She was accepted to Johnstown. She isn’t interested in attending that campus. Additionally, she originally put Psychology as her major, she would like to change to undeclared. So my question is two fold. Would changing her major reconsider her for main campus? If not is there any process to be reconsidered, as Pitt is her first choice. Thank you!

@pittmom2021 -this is a decisions/stats only thread. You are more likely to get a response on another thread.
Also–have your daughter reach out to her regional admissions rep–they are so fantastic and helpful.

Reflection
Strengths: ACT, grades, diverse extracurriculars
Weaknesses: Weak essays
Why you think you were accepted/deferred/rejected: Scores/GPA well exceeded requirements
Where else you are applying or have already applied: Rutgers, UMD, Northeastern, Fordham, UNC, Yale, UPenn, Cornell, NYU, UVA
General Comments/Advice/Hindsight: If you are above the requirements and are looking for a large scholarship, spend time making sure your short answers are quality. Those are the only real opportunity they have to see who you are beyond numbers, which may not matter for acceptance but will matter for merit aid. I didn’t do so well on them, and I believe I got less money as a result.
