The application checklist is gone. It’s happening! T-13 hours 31 minutes! May you all dream of beavers, “congratulations,” and sunny Southern California. And may we all get the decisions we desire tomorrow–well, this–afternoon.
Its gonna be Sunday 4am for me, guess Im gonna go to bed early tonight and hope for the best!
Tried URL brute-force guessing to see if they already loaded the decisions onto a page that only didn’t have a button to take us to the link and no dice
@derpdarklord You probably shouldn’t do that just to be safe. A bunch of applicants to HBS tried (and succeeded) that in 2005 and they all got rejected.
My S, who was accepted EA, never received an email specifically about his acceptance. He did receive later emails about other matters (such as Prefrosh weekend, etc.) that include congratulatory verbiage. He also received a one-page letter in the mail days later. Because of its size, Caltech doesn’t have a large admission staff. So, the best bet is to check the portal today at noon PST. Good luck to you all.
6 more hours to go!!!
less than 4 hours!! aaaaaa
LESS THAN 3 HOURS!!
About 2.
2 hours left, its 2 in the morning should I stay up?
Lol less than one hour. Good luck everyone!
It’s better not to-- you certainly won’t be conscious of the time if you are asleep and the decision will be waiting for you sooner, as you perceive it. If you can’t get to sleep because you get nervous, then you can just view the decision when you get to 4am. It’s a win-win.
Hey guys. I didn’t apply but best of luck to all of you!
T - 30 mins
30 minutes!!! I want to die!!!
Good luck to everyone!
OMG it’s sooooooooooo close!!!
Although I’m fairly sure a rejection is on the way, I’m getting pretty nervous right now. I just reread my caltech essays and I just found out (again) that I wrote a whole essay about memes lmaoooo. RIP application. Good luck to all of you!
I’m definitely going to get rejected, but I’m sure some of you guys are strong candidates and I’m wishing you all good luck!
@romaraje I’m in the same boat dude. Good luck to everyone!
