Any official update on when decision are released yet?

@vik0likes0cs I think they release the results this saturday. I have read that they usually release them the saturday before MITās release date, wich is march 14th. Although I am not very sure.
And how are you feeling three days before the decisions come out?
Feeling pretty chill here actually. Tbh, that is only because Iām an international applicant and they take ~20 to ~28 internationals per year so I donāt really count on getting in lol. Also, one of the national olympiads is on march 10th too, so that keeps me busy (now because of training and then, well, thatās contest day haha). Good luck everyone <3
Iām a little nervous, but I know things will work out in the end. Caltech was my first collegiate love, all the way back freshman year. If I donāt get in, things werenāt meant to be and I can always apply again for graduate school.
Iām planning on checking my decision in the beaver dam at my local childrenās museum. Great place in case I get in, which I doubt. : (

Does anyone know what time the decision might come out on March 10th? I just got an impressive award last week and sent them an email about it. Not sure if it can still help at this point.

@frazzledazzle How to you know the date and time? Nothing has been released from the school and no email has been sent to the applicants yet. Is it just based on what has occurred in the past?
@84stag Yes. Looking at the thread for the class of 2021, they donāt release an email before it happens. I have a good hunch about Saturday and it makes sense when thinking of it in relation to MIT since they are rival schools after all.

I made a bet of sorts with myself that if I get in tomorrow Iāll paint my nails orange everyday until graduation, which is 3 months to the day from decision day. If I get in, Iāll be repping my #1 woooooooo!!!
Iām hyped but super nervous. It will all be fine, though. Whatever the decision may be.

The Cal Tech admissions page says āRegular Decision notifications: mid-March.ā Thereās nothing specific. It would be thoughtless to not tell the applicants precisely when and how they will be notified. Thatās just being decent and fair.
