@scmom12 If I’m applying to the Honors College, will I then get two letters? One for EA acceptance to USC and another, later one for acceptance/rejection to the Honors College?
From admissions website:
Honors decisions are released on a rolling basis. Honors applications will hear about their general university acceptance first, and then will receive a second letter concerning their honors decision. All offers of admission to the South Carolina Honors College will be made by mid-February.

My daughter has similar stats…out of State, Louisiana…ACT 33, 4.83 GPA on their scale. Many actiivities including serving as a representative on our Youth Advisory to the State Legislature and she has a patent pending. Also Honors College applicant. We’ll have to start a roommate thread for those admitted!
My anxiety went through the roof after reading this thread last night in anticipation of what could be in the mail this week! D applied in late July. She is at boarding school but I believe she used only her home address when she applied so I’d be seeing it before she would! Her ACT was only 30 (really wanted her to take it again) and no idea what her GPA would be as it’s 92/100 and don’t know what her classes will equate to for SC’s purposes. Applied to Honors but sees herself more in Capstone–hoping that her spectacular essays would get her into that program as Honors is not likely.
