Class of 2022 Decisions

just got accepted today! applied RD from out of state. 1260 SAT 3.4 UWGPA

We are in Md- our state schools do not offer sports management so in state for us

We receive in state tuition because we are in Md and our state schools do not offer sports management major.

Yep- no state school offers sports management

There is a program in The south eastwhere a consortium of colleges offer reciprocal in state tuition. Google the southern Regional Education Board Common Market. Http://www.sreb.org/academic-common-market MD and VA are included. The caveat is that the major can’t be offered in the home state school. @lastone03 because JMU has the program, your student would not qualify. We are in the same position as JMU offered the exercise science program as well. This type of tuition program is not the same as the merit aid tuitition reduction offered to incoming students.

@student2250 don’t panic. My son had the same thing happen last year. It turned out that the phot of his grades that we uploaded was blurry. We got a letter in the mail asking for an official transcript to be sent and then he heard a few weeks later.

ACCEPTED!

Honestly thought I was going to be deferred!

Oops, forgot about common market stuff. Other than that, USC offers in-state rates or reduced tuition based on scores/stats. If you look on website under scholarships you’ll see the estimate for what it takes to get these amounts. Look at Flinn to see what it took last year (on ave) to get this based on stats.

My D was put under second review. OOS, 3.4 UW GPA and 26 on ACT. A bunch of other girls around her were deferred too. Super nervous and anxious to wait until March!!

My son just got his acceptance letter today; it says that will receive at least in state tuition but will find out the specifics in March. Like many others, he had been invited to apply to honors college though this acceptance says nothing at all about it. Does that mean he did not get into the honors college?

@percussionboymo They tweeted on Friday that Honors College acceptances would be going out this week. It’s a different mailing.

Well, thank you so much for that information! Good luck everyone
