I do believe that @PPofEngrDr is just messing with us. I would not worry if your portal message is still red.
The chances that they would reveal admissions decisions by a color coding hours or days before actually notifying candidates are vanishingly close to zero. Everyone take a deep breath and just wait.

When people log into their MyUPS account, does it say you have any scheduled deliveries from WashU for today? Mine says I have no scheduled deliveries so far

There is also the possibility that Wash U decided to disable such notifications like USC somehow did for their acceptance mailings.

Looking at the USPS postal site images are only provided for letter-sized mailings that are processed through automated equipment. So notification depends on the size of the mail.

Wait, we still didn’t get the email saying that it will be released today. Apparently, Washu sends this email in the morning of the release date. When did this email happen last year?
