Class of 2022 RD Discussion Thread

@IntApp2022 Yeah I agree with your point.

@Bolsted101 That probably means you got accepted. GPA isn’t everything.

@Bolsted101 Out of curiosity, would you mind telling me which of those applies to you?

Oh would they release the decisions already! Why wait when they are ready!!!

@csekar15 or parents Y2K bug hitting the bank finally…

International hopeful applicant here

What were test stats last year?

@IntApp2022 Yeah, I received the Gold Congressional Award; but, I have a 3.65UW/4.15W and a 35 ACT, so I’m not confident at all

@matt4isu it should be on their website

@Bolsted101 But that’s a very specific achievement mentioned on the site. I’d say you’re definitely in

@Bolsted101 Plus your ACT is excellent as well so there’s no chance you weren’t accepted.

@Bolsted101 that means you are upper end of 50%, as long as you are in top 10% in your class, it seems you have strong case.

I am lol, how many Gold Congressional Awards are given, @Bosted101?

It’s too bad they didn’t put “Average farmer from Iowa” on the list… They must have forgotten.

That’s hilarious @matt4isu ! They are revising the press release as we speak!

Y did I apply to Olin I thought Olin was same level of difficulty as the arts and sciences.

And my GC also said that the top 10% only applies if your high school actually ranks. If you go to a school that does not rank, they don’t include you in the stats.

@matt4isu I vaguely remembered from last 2 days, 2021 class had ~30K+ applicants, ~16.7% acceptance rate, 32-34 ACT range. So definitely all those 3 numbers are inferior than this year pool.

Not sure @Winky1 , received for community service
@IntApp2022 I sure hope so, washu is my top:)
good luck to all <3  we got this

What time did the decisions come out last year?

i received the congressional award for creating a program for speech impediments, but im not sure how many are given out @IntApp2022
