First time posting here but I’ve been lurking for a while. Found out I got waitlisted. 4.0 UW, 1500 SAT, school doesn’t rank. I’ve already gotten accepted early into UC Berkeley EECS and I actually prefer Berkeley over WashU, so I actually feel indifferent toward being waitlisted. I’m kind of surprised how I even got into Berkeley EECS but got waitlisted at WashU… I have a good guess that at least part of it is because I’m Asian so I’m at a disadvantage at schools that practice affirmative action. However, as I said, I could care less. xD Congrats to everyone who got accepted! And if you were rejected/waitlisted, there’s so many great schools out there and I’m sure you guys will get into one of them! Just because you couldn’t get into WashU doesn’t mean you aren’t able to get into some other amazing school.

For the admitted students, did anyone notice in the “Celebration Days 2018”, it says “Travel and on-campus accommodation will be provided” ? Does it mean they provide airfare for the students?
