Accepted! Acceptance to top schools has been a surprise because my ECs are not impressive. 1540 SAT, 4.0 GPA UW, 5.3 W
Rejected; private school; 3.66UW, 4.0W; 1580 SAT; 35 ACT; Pretty strong ECs (yearbook senior section editor, community service board executive board, swim team captain, vice president of the green club, summer internships/research from summer before 10th grade, etc.). Really sad since it was my #1.
That makes:
4 Acceptances (Cornell-Early Write, Williams, Smith-Early Write, and CWRU.
3 Wailtlists (Rice, UChicago, and Amherst)
2 Rejections (Northwestern and Swarthmore)
1 Deferral EA (Princeton)
Funny how that has worked out so far.
On the positive side, it will all be over next week. I, for one, am not feeling all too confident for my remaining schools, but they were all high reaches anyway I guess, and I had fee waivers.
Congratulations to all, for wherever you end up next year, I am sure it will be great (new adventures right).
Has anyone seen their financial aid packet yet? Mine says it’s been accepted, even though I did not do anything to accept the award. Does anyone have the same thing?

Sorry to ask again. Does anyone know how to access financial aid decisions? I thought those were supposed to come out today. Are financial aid decisions just merit scholarships or the entire financial aid package?

Son was accepted! Computer science, ACT 35, 3.91 UW/4.27 W. Will graduate with 14 AP classes. Good leadership and ECs.
On Esther, it says no financial award information is available for you at this time and to call the FA Office. What the heck does that mean?
Rejected, 1570, 3.9 UW, lots of AP classes. Haven’t gotten in anywhere RD yet, losing hope.
