@beachmama1 @oreomollykona I was accepted about three weeks ago, as well! Still haven’t heard anything about merit, only about the world scholars program. On their website, it says that they should update you about 1-2 weeks after you’re accepted. Perhaps they’re a little late because of thanksgiving? I’m not positive, though. Hopefully, it’ll come out this week.
For those who got World Scholar invite on your portal where was it? My daughter got an email invitation to set up an interview through the portal, but nothing on her portal seems to have changed. She would like to apply.
You should see it right on the main page with the confetti and streamers. It says World Scholars Application and under that it says Schedule your interview now
Thanks. Hers doesn’t say that. Maybe it got delayed or decoupled from the email due to the holiday weekend.
I just called admissions. They said no merit has gone out yet and they hope to get the first wave out in a week!
I got the email saying my application was under review November 16th, and still haven’t heard anything back. Do the acceptances come in waves on certain days or are they random?
@yoa2001 It appears that decisions are being released in waves, once per week on Friday nights. Thanksgiving week was the exception with a Wednesday night release.
Has anyone used UDel’s net price calculator? I think I read on last year’s acceptance thread that the NPC’s merit money was about what that person ended up getting.
Decisions have been coming on Fridays.
Still nothing here. App was submitted on 10/30 along with all other required materials. Have not yet received the application complete/under review e-mail.
Applied 10/19. Have not received the application complete/under review but did call to confirm that application was completed. Was told 8-12 weeks. Any business majors hear a decision back yet?

DD applied around Oct. 26, sent in first quarter grades early last week, and finally got the “application complete” email last Wednesday. Not sure if new grades triggered that email or it was just coincidence… Really hoping it’s not the 8-12 weeks stated in the email but from when the application and supporting materials were submitted.
Hey guys! I got a tab for my financial aid but when i clicked on it it said it would be unavailable until mid-july??? I need to know how much it is going to cost me before then tho… haha

@oreomollykona i hope so. My mom said maybe the message about mid-july is a mistake just like when they said class of 2022 at first!

Daughter applied 10/29. Portal showed all items received 11/6. JUST got the “Your Application is Complete” e-mail today (11/28)…now just waiting.
I’m a parent of a UD junior. I think it can depend on the student’s individual stats. My son, whose stats were well above average (1560 SAT etc), heard in about a month after his late December app. He applied as a CompSci major. I knew others whose kids applied October who didnt hear until February or March. Currently waiting on #2’s application. He applied about 4 weeks ago.
