I’m so sorry to the others who were on eggshells on Friday and didn’t get the streamers Based on this, to the future readers of this chain, if the major doesn’t disappear along with the “change your major” link appearing, it means there’s an update coming, but it’s probably not going to be a full acceptance. My daughter got her update, she’s academically accepted, and as UDel is her #1 this is fantastic, but we just need to wait for her audition for acceptance into her major, or else she will need to select a different major.

@ashantiAG Application was submitted 11/4, got an email that the application was under review on 12/6 and the update just came 1/10
DD just received in the mail an acceptance letter. Put a big smile on her face.
No mention of merit, however. Is that handled separately for UDel? Her other acceptance letters so far came with a second document with merit.
Really hoping that Del just hasn’t finalized the merit component yet, as full price might be out of our reach against the other schools who have offered merit. She is an env science major. Out of state. Honors and AP courses, 3.5 gpa. 1300 SAT
Merit came a little after - a week or two? A little above what is predicted by online calculator so that was nice.

DD received her acceptance package yesterday. No merit mentioned. OOS NY, Honors, AP, 1300 SAT and 3.7 GPA unweighted, Business major.
So this might be a dumb question so bear with me but where are you guys making a portal account?? is it mybluehenhome or whatever? because it says sign in with your UD ID and i’m trying to find the portal for figuring out if i’m accepted not?
