Class of 2023 MT Artistic Acceptance Notifications: How/When/Where

For those of you not distracted by all of the UM “no’s” - Ithaca updated their portal last night and D got an offer! So, if you have been refreshing the Myithaca page for the last week - you may want to double check this morning. Fingers crossed for all!

@Divamamacita Congrats on Ithaca!

@Divamamacita Yay!!! Thrilled for your daughter!!! Congratulations ?

@lojosmo Did you update Molloy (emailing today)? Thanks! Anything else?

@DramaLlama18 how did you hear about Molloy/CAP21?

@Divamamacita where do you look in the Ithaca portal for a decision?

@DramaLlama18 ~ I was waiting on confirmation  Has anyone received an email?

Note - there’s a cross-reference list by date for those who self identify as "date anxiety "sufferers on p. 18 of this thread. Thanks CaMom13

If you reply to someone about a school, please mention the name of the school in your post - this thread moves pretty fast so the original post could be pages back!

UPDATES 3/1
Xavier emailing acceptances

From Yesterday:
• Michigan decisions are up on the Wolverine portal. Calls to accepted students also.
• Added Arizona State
• UAZ notifications have started
• 2/28 is the date UMich called accepted students last year - so this year could be 3/1? or 3/8? Probably a Friday
• FSU - from Michele (All4FSU) “We did make calls yesterday. We will not be calling anyone else today, but there is an alternate list. The alternates will receive a letter which I expect to arrive in mailboxes next week. To be clear about the numbers (although I know it doesn’t help psychologically) we had 252 candidates pass the prescreen. We made 18 offers, NOT including the 2 students who accepted offers from the summer intensive. The total number of students accepted this year is 20. The students auditioning did exactly what we asked of them; they made it hard for us to make decisions. I always end audition season awed by them.” Thanks, Michele!

D just got a redirect to BA from Illinois Wesleyan via email.

S’s Ithaca portal has not changed :-/

@KAT67 You log in to MyIthaca and right at the top of the page is the acceptance notice: “Congrats you have been accepted to…” Our D got her acceptance to the Acting BFA yesterday and this message came up. They told her via e-mail that a package comes in the mail in a week. Not sure about MT.

@“boola boola” Still a good sign that your Ithaca account is active.

@KAT67 and @posivibes ITHACA - Same as @possivibes said on the portal. We have not received an email or a snail mail yet from the department. Her twin brother got a snail mail rejection earlier this week for MT. It is very challenging having 2 go through this at the same time.

@Divamamacita I can only imagine! You get extra mama points for double timing!!!

@Divamamacita and @posivibes Thank you and congrats to your kids!!! Very exciting!!!

D just came off waitlist at Marymount Manhattan for MT concentration. This calmed me down some and shows it’s still early in this process.

Just posted on the Molloy/CAP21 FB page: Today is “decision day” for all COMPLETE applicants to the Molloy/CAP21 BFA program! We will be sending decisions via email and also via regular mail.

If you have not received an email by the end of the day, this is likely because your application is still missing items (test scores, transcripts, etc…) Please contact Rebecca Overton at roverton@molloy.edu to check on the status of your application.

someone said in the other thread that Pace MT calls were going out today.

Which thread? @TexasMTDad
