@Looney2020 â just a bit of comic relief. My D ran into some friends of hers at Chicago Unifieds (boys and girls), and someone made the joke: 1) Girls in MT â Iâve had voice, dance, and acting lessons for 15 years. I hope to get the part of âTree #3â in the school musical. 2) Boys in MT â I wish the teacher would stop texting me, begging me to take the lead in the upcoming musical. LOL. Of course itâs not really like this, but it IS funny. I have 1 girl and 3 boys. The girl has been trying to get her brothers interested in MT. Hasnât worked yet, but maybe someday!

My S got an acceptance today from CCM too for BFA Musical Theatre!!! An email very well written and welcoming!!! A formal letter will be mailed once (if not already) school paperwork is completed.

Maybe you know people who are doing acting and have heard one way or another, but the only people I know who are going for Otterbein are strictly MT. I was thinking maybe they are only sending messages to MT people? IDK? If you know of people who are doing are doing Acting and have heard, you might give them a call.

@SingerDancerMom, it sounds like all guys for now. One of my daughterâs friends (male) also heard from CCM yesterday.
As the mom of a boy who is in his 5th year of doing the school musical, its not totally off base.
Although in our high school even the boy spots are somewhat competitive but no where near the girls.

Can confirm CCM notification perhaps just boys? My S also received a yes last night via email. Thrilling news to say the least. Still a bit shocked b/c there are so many talented young people out there. Good luck, good vibes to all.
