@legitmt we auditioned on 11/16 & got an email ( which was in spam folder) on 12/13
@MTisNutz An exclamation point with a rejection??? Wow someone screwed that up big time. So sorry! Thanks for the heads up though; we will know not to get excited about that subject line when our email comes through!
We were also at the Nov audition and experienced the email problem, only it wasnât even in spam. S contact his admissions counselor and they resent the the email outside of the mass emailing system. They must have gotten on a spam list and hopefully have gotten it resolved.
OCU said they will notify by email, ideally in 3 weeks but could be 4 weeksâŠwhich puts late next week for auditions the weekend of 2/7
How long ago did you audition? I think you hear within 4 weeks after the audition. If you have not heard then email and ask if all decisions have been sent out for your particular audition date and let them know that you havenât received anything. They have had issues with their email system before as @prarie stated above.

Also for University of Oklahoma auditionees, there was an email sent out that they would be notifying last week of February through the beginning of March!

@Looney2020 Otterbein looks at their class of 2024 as the âBFA Performance Class of 2024â and should be doing all notifications at once, at least that is what they have done in previous years. It truly is a unified cohort.
FSU started acceptance phone calls yesterday 2/24/20.
@Libish - thanks for sharing the Otterbein approach. Iâm concerned because my D has not received any communication. It seems like many other people got fairly quick emails saying either âno thanksâ or âwe are still considering you.â She has not gotten anything, and I am wondering if she should email the Theatre Dept. or just continue to wait a bit?

@NeensMom , Ithaca acceptance came through email directing to portal on 2/21 but I donât know if everyone heard the same day or if some people are still pending, so Iâm not sure how to word the update.
Also, about OCU. Dâs acceptance came ONLY to her OCU email account. We had not set that up, so we didnât know to check thereâŠI mean, if I set up every email address for all the schools she has applied toâŠ
Anyway, if you have not heard, and have not set up that account, I would do so.
@WDWMom thats interesting bc ours came to our gmail account but as I mentioned it was in spamâŠas others mentioned I think they had significant issues with their email in November hoping its fixed by now??
