Updated Shenandoah w/ 2020 info. Last day of auditions is 2/22. They will then meet & decide and then call before their spring break which starts 3/6. Also, from today’s info session they said that last year they yielded a larger class size (27) but they are still shooting for 18. Last year accepted 50 to end up with 27; this year will probably accept 36 to end up 18. And as an interesting note, they have not had to go their priority hold list (waitlist) in the last 7 years.

Just a heads up about UNCSA- at NY Unified they posted a callback at the end of each session and if you were not on the callback list for your session then you were no longer under consideration.

Thank you! My D did nyc Unifieds ! And did walk-in for two I believe SCAD AND Rutgers. She had Marymount Manhattan yesterday . It was all day but she loved it !! She still has , Syracuse, Michigan and Ferdonia all on campus . SO LOTS OF DRIVING !! Good luck to you and thank you !

It would be so great if College Confidential would let us edit one list at the top of the post, vs. continual reposting. But I can’t think of a better way in this format. Thank you all for the updates, keep 'em coming!

Make sure to note How/Where notifications are sent, as that one (of many!) distressing things about this process. Some schools call, some send direct emails, some are portal only. And there are even a few snail mail holdouts. And some are a combination of any of those factors.

Happy Chicago and LA Unifieds week to all who are participating! See you all back here when you’re home - we’re here to help you through the long wait.

cant complain out here in Chicago, I think it was last year where the polar vortex overtook the midwest at -10 degrees, today is a record high at 50+…

@erayann Does SCAD have a MT program?

@iowamtmom Savanna College of Art and Design - that is SCAD? Looks like they have a BFA in Performing Arts (Acting)

I spoke to the lady at SCAD at our local thespian society auditions. It’s a BFA in Performing Arts, however they’re growing the department. They put on a musical production each year alongside their straight plays, and they have an ensemble choir which holds concerts and performs in different venues around Georgia. It sounded interesting.

Has anyone gotten a YES from Montclair?>. I am waiting but seems people have only heard No’s

@DramaLove2020 my S received word that he’s on their waiting list (auditioned for acting though, not MT)

I think there was someone on the acceptances by school thread whose son is already in.

Last year, my son auditioned at Chicago Unifieds on 2/4. He was accepted on 2/26. I feel like there was a round the week before and a round on 2/26. They still had auditions after that, too… so if you’re on the cusp, it could be a while.

BTW, he LOVES Montclair!

@TexasMTDad - thanks… she auditioned on campus on 1/25 and is still waiting to hear something!

@DramaLove2020 with Chicago and LA Unifieds not even complete yet, I suspect that there are a ton of kids who still haven’t even auditioned. They are a competitive school so they probably need to see the cohort that they are choosing from before they make a decision.

@TexasMTDad that’s what I figured, but they said 2 weeks or so in the audition! Guess it will just be more waiting

Does anyone know how SCAD notifies? Auditioned for them in NY
