Kinesiology is tough as it has so few spots and many are for UM Athletic Students. Not sure if they will give rejection notices at this time, since there is one more wave, and they never know who will reject an offer. Plus, if not outright rejected earlier, your son obviously met criteria. So there’s that. Chin up, and hope for the best. We should report back here!
I’m sure this has been asked before, but were people actually rejected in the first two waves? At my son’s school all I know about is deferrals, with maybe 2 acceptances.
I think rejections are mostly the last wave, not this one. If we applied RD in late December, do you guys think we’ll hear back today?

I applied 2/1 tho. I am not so sure if I will get a decision today, but I wrote probably my best essay for UMich so…
Does anyone see any changes to their portal?
Will we get an e-mail if there is an update, or do you need to proactively login to the portal?

Correct me if I’m wrong but I think no one saw any significant portal changes before they heard last round. Just an email. I think one or two people saw their “check list complete” tab move.
I checked my screenshots. The “Checklist Complete” was under Application tab, “Your Application Status” button. Then “Checklist Complete” button appeared under Messages tab later. I think it was the day before.
On 1/31, a yellow banner “A new decision is available” showed up on the top of the portal then under Your Application Status button, it changed to: Admitted, Awaiting Response to Offer.
@mavian my son’s Checklist Complete button has been under messags tab since he was deferred EA back in December
@Bezmom, on 1/30 screenshot, I only see 2 buttons under messages. Decision postponed & Apply for Financial Aid.
Way back on Page 1 of this thread I posted the CC results from last year for the February and March waves. There were 3 rejections out of 44 total decisions in last year’s March wave here on CC.
I also posted %'s for April’s CC wave several pages back, but I’m too lazy at the moment to search for it.
