Question for anyone- I am having a hard time understanding the high admit rate ( of 80 plus % acceptance but with such a high average GPA of 3.9. This doesn’t make sense to me… with that high of a GPA average acceptance rate should be much lower.
It is the make up of applicants, enrolled data 2019, the applicant pool has high gpa’s
Percent who had GPA of 4.0 45.03%
Percent who had GPA between 3.75 and 3.99 21.21%
Percent who had GPA between 3.50 and 3.74 16.64%
Percent who had GPA between 3.25 and 3.49 9.17%
Percent who had GPA between 3.00 and 3.24 6.16%
Percent who had GPA between 2.50 and 2.99 1.75%
Percent who had GPA between 2.0 and 2.49 0.04%
Percent who had GPA between 1.0 and 1.99 0.00%
Percent who had GPA below 1.0 0.00%
Totals should be = 100% 100.00%

My boy just got his acceptance!! War Eagle!!! OOS Texas
My daughter who got accepted is OOS Denver, Colorado.
So Excited!! Daughter accepted OOS Pennsylvania!
We just activated his account and even though we sent his transcript in August is now says awaiting official transcript. Anyone else have that?
Yes Snowy11, ours says that also and it was not there earlier in the day. So it is more of an enrollment or after acceptance checklist item. I am not sure if we uploaded an unofficial for review purposes and then eventually they want an official. If you have already sent an official, it might just represent that you need to send an official final transcript if you enroll.
Daughter accepted tonight - OOS Wisconsin. Waiting on other decisions and financial aid.
Question for OOS parents… Do your kids consider themselves socially/politically or religiously conservative and if not, are you worried about how they will fit in at Auburn? My kid is OOS, from a very diverse and very socially/politically, very LGBTQ friendly liberal town in NJ. She is not remotely religious. We are interfaith ( dad is Jewish ) but super secular. Kid is not political but by osmosis I am sure has picked up many of the same beliefs as her classmates. Are you concerned about fit?
I will admit, I’ve considered it. My daughter calls herself a Christian liberal. She is looking mostly at southern schools (warm weather!) and realizes she will encounter conservative viewpoints, much like where we currently live in WI. We’ve talked about what she might encounter and she feels prepared to be speak about her beliefs, even if others disagree.
My older daughter is a Sophomore at Alabama and my youngest will be at Auburn. My Bama girl and I just had a conversation about how some of the students are very liberal and they all just discuss. She is not at all religious and does not feel out of place. My Auburn girl is very religious and is actually concerned about maintaining her values in college. I think there is a place for all of them!
