Don’t think so I guess EA merits will be different timelines Vs RD merit dates
We are still waiting.
We are from CO and haven’t visited yet. GPA 4.3 W, 3.8 UW, SAT 1450. Nursing.
I wonder if we haven’t heard yet because we haven’t been able to visit due to COVID, are far away and they are concerned about the “yield”. DS attended a virtual session but that is all.
We are OOS, did not visit Campus and heard back. Perhaps related to submission date?
@2025Dad, when was the application submitted/completed? My OOS D21 visited when my son looked, and then again with her summer camp, but she didn’t attend any virtual sessions because she knew enough about it to apply. She submitted the end of October (with an ACT) but hasn’t received her decision.
We submitted end of October as well.
@2025dad Thank you and Congratulations!
Thank you. And good luck to your D!
We submitted very early.
Well, could just be different timing because it’s a different area of study. Your scores and grades are better. Good luck.
I submitted October 25th, finished on the 27th, and heard back on November 4th. It’s probably random. I wouldn’t be too concerned yet. They’ll get to you soon, and waiting likely doesn’t affect your decision. My cousin who is a freshman at UD had to wait three months and she got in. Don’t worry too much yet.
My twin bro applied the same time and heard back over two weeks ago. I guess they could be releasing them in random waves?
Anxiously awaiting any news on possible merit and honors. Son was admitted on 11/4. We are OOS so pretty important for his decision. Hoping to hear/see something soon. Does anyone know if it gets posted to portal, or email, or snail mail? Thanks!
Honors went into portal for us - admitted on 11/4 and Honors decision on the 20th in portal. No word on merit though - which also as OOS will make a difference. Somewhere else on the thread someone said they called and were told maybe next week for merit - they are behind I guess…
How long is it taking for the honors college decisions to be released after your acceptance
It seems different for everyone. On the Honors link on UD website it does say by January 31 for EA. And February 15 for regular decision
Same here. My son applied 10/19, was accepted 11/4, submitted Honors application on 11/11 and we were informed that we’d get info on his merit/financial aid package within 2-3 weeks. It’s been over a month. No update on Honors either. Anyone know how long it typically takes for decision on Honors? Sorry if I missed a post on this.
The website doesn’t even have the guidelines or criteria for merit scholarships 2021. I wonder how this year will be regarding SAT/ACT scores and merit scholarships.
Same here we got admission on 11/4 and applied Honors 11/15 still waiting
I called yesterday Financial aid office they said merit scholarships will be out end of next week. They even looked up our application we are being considered for sure. Hopefully good news
Did they mention the criteria for merit? Theres nothing on the site
Lady mentioned as long as we have scores and GPA / course rigor good fit for merit scholarships not sure about ranges.
