I got in a couple of months ago so I do not know.
Hello, we are looking to do the same. Where did you send the request? Thanks in advance.
My son was accepted in early January and he received a merit scholarship letter with acceptance. We are still awaiting actual FA package. Has everyone that has been accepted received theirs? And if one were to appeal the merit aid, where would you find that option in the portal? Thanks.
Applied RD in late December and just got my acceptance!
OOS CA for Public Policy
- ACT: 34
- HS doesn’t rank
- UW GPA: 2.96
- Sophomore level standing at local community college (GPA 3.2)
- ECs include congressional internship, undergrad polisci teaching assistant, president of youth group chapter, founded HS club
Congrats to everyone accepted:)
Not quite a rejection, he was accepted, but into his 2nd choice major and they barely offered any merit money. This is a high stat kid too. So basically, they don’t want him enough to make it worth our while.
DD accepted after deferral.

Congratulations!
has anyone applied for a work study or does anyone have one? if so would you mind sharing how much money you received for that and how long it took for you to hear back after submitting a request? Thanks so much!
My D has full ride with Eugene Du Pont but just received the half tuition from USC Viterbi - tough decision to make now ? Any views from this forum?
@Hedwig2025 If you son has set up his BlueHen Portal, once he logs in, he should see a big UD blue icon that says View Your Financial Portal on the screen. It’s next to the UD yellow Submit Your Deposit Today icon. If you click the Financial Portal icon, you will be able to see your financial aid package there. The merit scholarship will also show up on the Award Notice. Hope this helps.
Thanks. We received his aid, it was just late. His FinAid portal showed his merit scholarship for weeks and weeks and eventually they updated his whole aid package.
Congratulations to your daughter on the full ride Eugene du Pont scholarship! My DD also received the Du Pont scholarship from UD and will likely attend. I assume your daughter is planning on pursuing an engineering degree. If so, what kind of engineering is your daughter interested in studying?
She is interested in material sciences and engineering - what about yours? Many congrats to ur DD as well. Do u have any more information on the Du Pont advantages - there is not much available on the net.
Has anyone heard back from the LLCs? I know World Scholars were alerted, wondering aboit Innovation or Climate Change for example.
