My son was admitted on 12-16 and his packet still hasn’t arrived!

Interesting. Same here with Rutgers. Accepted 12/17 and still no packet. You’d think that would be mailed same day as online acceptance. Hoping now that Christmas is over, mail picks up again.

Nothing here from Rutgers either, or Wisconsin.

Accepted on 12/17. Packet arrived on 12/23. We are in Illinois … so not too far

Just received acceptance package in mail today. Was accepted on 12/16. MA resident.

We live 2 hours from Penn State and my daughter was accepted on 12/16 and still no snail mail packet!

I was accepted 12/12 and just got mine today!

Has anyone tried switching majors after being accepted, and if so, is it easy to do so or not?

does anyone know if they send the mail packets internationally or just in the states?

My D asked to be reconsidered for DUS fall after being accepted to Eberly summer on 12/18. Took an email and a phone call. The person my D spoke to said she should here in January.

Me too!

Chance me for DUS reconsideration? Accepted into Eberly Premedicine 2+2 at UP and LV.
GPA: 3.3 uw 3.7w
ACT: 30 submitted
5 APs, 2 Dual Enrollment, 12 Honors Classes.

You have a decent chance at DUS if criteria have remained the same as previous years. The 3.3uw is a problem but the rigor offsets that somewhat. Is your sxhool well known for rigor and is it known to PSU? Do you have other acceptances already?

I think my school is somewhat known for rigor, its in-state and last year 117 applied to penn state and 95 were accepted but it doesn’t specify which campus they were accepted into. I was accepted into temple honors college and achieved provost award. Do you think I’d be better off asking to change from DUS to Health and Human Development as a health policy and administration major? I’ve been hearing that DUS is getting more and more selective.

Temple Honors with Provost Award is EXCELLENT, congratulations! (Honestly I’d even prefer it to PSU  ) It’s also a good indication that your school is well-respected and the rigor recognized.
Sit tight: yes DUS has become more selective, but you have a superb option with Temple Honors so you’ve got nothing to lose just waiting for that result.

Thanks! I’m grateful that Temple offered me that, I just prefer PSU. I really am trying to get in there but I’m just not sure if they’re going to accept me past a 2+2 so it’s kinda tough.

Can anyone clarify what rolling admission means to PSU? We were under the impression that rolling apps were looked at as they come in. Son applied Engineering on August 2nd with complete SRAR and still has not heard anything. Wish we would have chosen EA… Thx!
