Son is in, Early Action, regular admit (non-Honors; he didn’t seek it) heard within a week. Into the BA program in Physics. Got small OOS merit aid up front, FASFA in, waiting for (but frankly not expecting) any need-based aid.

@sdteak You automatically qualify for the U. of Iowa’s Old Gold scholarship. And since you are from out of state that’s valued at $40,000 or $10,000 per year. For Old Gold, the minimums are 30 ACT and GPA of 3.8 on a 4.0 scale.
We know this because our DS has also qualified for this. We live in Iowa so Old Gold for him is $34,000 $8,500 per year).
@sdteak Has your daughter applied and been accepted to Iowa? If so, get your scholarship applications sent in by January 1st to be eligible for other scholarships.
