<p>My summer class starts on Monday and I just realized that I don't have a summer class pass. I haven't been in Berkeley so I haven't had a chance to get one. Does it matter? Is there a grace period or something?</p>

<p>It’s a bus pass for UC Berkeley students. Two are issued per year (one for Fall, one for Spring/Summer), and they are good for unlimited rides on the AC Transit. It comes in the form of a sticker on your student ID.</p>
<p>Every student is charged $65 (I think) for it each semester, regardless of whether or not they use it.</p>
<p>you can pick it up in the first few days at the start of the semester.</p>
