Class rank mistake

<p>On my common app I entered that I am 15th out of 261, yet this was my class rank before my transcript was updated. My transcript now says I am 15 out of 242. I have already submitted my application. Should I send the school an email or letter explaining the situation? I don't want them to think I'm lying on purpose.</p>

<p>Anyone else ever made this mistake, or know what I should do?</p>

<p>Don’t worry. It does not make much difference and you were reporting based on the information you had. People reporting GPA on the app may be changed by the time Q1 report is out. I don’t think people bother to change that after submission.</p>
