okay! thanks for the input. ^_^
Yeah. I'm not sure. It seems like a tough choice because people are telling me both types of answers. haha

I'm not sure exactly, but from what I've heard and understood from their website the UC's only count the A-G courses in grades 10-11.

"Only the grades you earn in "a-g" subjects in the 10th and 11th grades - including summer sessions - are used to calculate your preliminary GPA."

There is nothing on the UC website that discusses the importance of senior year grades-besides mentioning that a rising senior should take a challenging course load. What about the effect of senior year grades on class rank? Does this mean seniors can take things a bit easier, or must they work even harder?

Thanks for any help in clarifying this. Perhaps I'm just overthinking everything.

totally unrelated but as a freshman in high school i was rank 16 out of 779.
this year i'm probably in the top 10% and maybe in the top 10 (people),
so which is more important: top 10% or top 10 ppl

Yeah...Piggle, that was completely unrelated. Are you just trying to brag about your rank? lol whichever is highest would be more important. In a class of 779 it would be much better to be in the top 10 people than the top 10 percent, which would include 77 people.
