<p>Is it possible to not show the UCs your class rank? Because my school suffers from horrible grade inflation for people that take easy classes and they don’t compensate for taking difficult classes. This was worrying me because I had a lit of hope until I realized all the UCs had like 99% top 10 while I’m only in the top 25</p>
<p>UCs don’t ask for your class rank in the application. If your school puts it on your official transcript, they will see it. But it does not affect you at all since they don’t see your transcript until you have been accepted. However, the only time it matters is when determining if you’re part of ELC. ELC is guarantee admission to a UC (not of your choice and most likely UC Merced) to the top 8% of your high school, that is if your high school participates in ELC. So don’t worry about your rank.
