Ok so about a week ago I got my final report card and out of my freshman class, it says I'm ranked #1, but there's a girl who's in more difficult classes and all her averages are like 100-103 and she's #2 but mine are like 97-100. My classes are
H English 1
H Biology
H Algebra 1
Intro to Mechatronics
AP Human Geography
Spanish 1 H
Gym/Health
While her's are
H English 1
H Biology
H Algebra 2
French 3 H
AP Human Geography
Spanish 3 H
Gym/Health
Shouldn't be rank 1?

You guys are freshmen who cares

^^^ lmao omg that was rude but true

For the most part, class rank changes around a lot throughout high school - Val and Sal might switch spots a dozen times with each marking period. I wouldn’t really dwell on it a terrible amount right now.

If I were you I wouldn’t be complaining…

Haha no reason to.

Sorry I just want to earn what I deserve.

There’s such thing as good people nowadays?

1 your a fish
2 don’t complain
3 go typical cc and brag bout being numbero uno

Sorry I feel like I have to fairly earn everything I get, even something like this.

Focus on staying in that top ten percent rather than at the number one spot. You have a long 3 years ahead of you trust me and the people who you thought were the brightest aren’t always the ones who actually are. Make sure you understand as a freshman that becoming valedictorian is only partially about being the smartest. It usually goes to the hardest working and the smartest about turning in assignments.

Life isn’t fair. Take what you can get.
