Hi, just wondering if my class rank will hurt me much. I am ranked 15 so just barely top 3.5 percent in my class, exactly 450 people, and I got a 2310 on my SAT and 800s on Chem and Math2. I have a good amount of extracurriculars but I’m just hoping that Stanford doesn’t dwell on my rank too much.
No. Over half of US HS’s do not rank. Being in the top 3.5% vs. the top 1% will not mean the difference between acceptance and rejection.
I would not worry- you sound like a very strong applicant!
