Class rank

As a freshman and sophomore, I went to a very good suburban school (with SAT score above average national and state). Out of 750 students in my grade, I made top 10 weighted and top 5 unweighted. However, it didn’t offer honors and APs courses. Then, I transferred to a rural but VERY competitve school in my junior year. Due to difficult transition, moving and depression, I still managed As and Bs in most rigorous courseload; unfortunately, the school doesn’t rank. But, I have a hunch that I made top 11-25 of my class (250 students). How will colleges view this? Should I contact my old guidance counselor (I bet he still remembers me because we had a good relationship and I was “an unique student”)? Should a letter of recommendation inform colleges of this situation? Should I do nothing? I am just concerned about my position in class ranking. Any advices or comments would be great!

Do nothing and have GC explain in his letter of recommendation

Class rank as a sophomore isn't especially meaningful. There is a lot of movement between then and senior year. I don't think that info would do you any good. Also most schools are looking for reqs from teachers that had you junior and senior year for the same reason.
