<p>I'm 50/415 - 12.04.</p>
<p>Will this affect my admissions consideration as 89% of UVA undergrads were in the top 10th percentile of their high school class? /:</p>
<p>Many high schools in northern VA do not rank. Are you sure your high school does? I doubt very much that UVA is going to consider that you are below the top 10% in your class if you are the type of student they admit… Strong grades, difficult courses, decent test scores, some ec’s and an essay that conveys something interesting about you that isn’t found elsewhere in your application.</p>
<p>Well they don’t rank by percentile. I did the math myself. I did, however, get exact placement at 50th out of 415.</p>
