Hi, my class ranking is 70/505, but my school (public) is better than the average. For example, at a decent high school close by, I would be around 12-15 out of 500. Will this hurt my chances in any way? I would be top 4% if I went to the other high school. Not even 10% at my high school. Thanks!

Cumulative GPA: 3.655
Academic Core GPA: 3.9862
Weighted Cumul. GA: 4.7224

SAT MATH:790
SAT READING:570
SAT WRITING:640
TWO SCORE:1360
FULL SCORE:2000

Where did you want to get into? You would be accepted into most state schools with those credentials, i doubt the class rank would overshadow your SAT scores/GPA.

University of FL, or University of Miami (with a scholarship)!

You should be worrying more about your reading score. Class rank is just a byproduct of your GPA. They’ll look at it in the context of your high school.

Trueeee. And yeah my reading score isnt that good. But i feel like having a 790 in math with finance being my major wont look that bad on my reading score

Class rank is just putting your GPA in comparison to your peers. a 4.0 means nothing if you’re ranked 400/734. It also helps if your GPA is on the low end (ie: 3.2 GPA but you’re ranked 8/564 because your school is extremely competitive).

You’ll be fine.
