Class Ranking question

How "official" does the ranking have to be?
our school says it doesn't rank, but even our councellor (omg can't spell it for my life) says that's only to protect the normal students. however, the school does tell us students, indirectly.

stuff like giving out 4.0+ gpa awards in order of class rank (top gpa got award first), and listing the highest gpa in the school's handbook (gave 0, 25, 50, 75, 100 percentiles)

could I list myself as #1, if it matches?

Protect the “Normal” students?
You mean the regular classes kids?
Lol, if they cared about their future they wouldn’t BE in normal classes would they?

Usually if your school doesn’t rank you can put your percentile. Talk to your counselor about, they can tell how to list yourself and will help you with that.

If your school does not rank on the transcript, then do not list yourself as anything. Put “N/A”–many schools don’t rank.
