<p>Most of the freshman got our assignments a couple of days ago for Registration times. Typically do people with times starting from 9:30-9:50 get their first pick of classes relative to the rest of the freshman?</p>
<p>Also, do you get to pick which Professor/Section or just the class itself? It seems rather difficult if you have to select using the phone between half a dozen sections of the same class.</p>

<p>You pick the section, each section of each class has a specific call number. If Class A meets at 9:10 and 2:10 but the 9:10 section is full, you will only be able to sign up for the 2:10 section.</p>
<p>And your half hour advantage over other freshman won't matter in the long run.</p>
<p>Hrmm, did you get your info in the mail? All I have is the ssol site but I'm not sure if there's an actual appointment listed on there.</p>
<p>Yes, it's on the damn site. There should be several appointments, which are just times when you can access the online registration.</p>

<p>Each day registration starts at 9am so yes...but again, its all relative....remember that upperclassmen have already picked. </p>

<p>i dont know of anyone who actually uses the phone. everyone uses the online registration since it is very easy.</p>
<p>Note: you don't get to pick your section of U.Writing/FoS/Gateway (at least not first semester)</p>

<p>graah, my registration time is after 1 pm. I'm aiming for intensive orgo, though, so I doubt that will fill up...not sure what else to take, yet</p>
