<p>I was wondering what UIUC prefers. </p>
<p>Do they prefer students who have challenged themselves with several APs and Accelerated classes, however, obtaining consistent B-/Bs and a few As(barely getting by), resulting in a 3.5 weighted GPA but a lower unweighted(3.0)</p>
<p>Or, do they prefer students who took standard, easier classes with mainly As and a few Bs, resulting in a 3.5 weighted AND unweighted GPA.</p>
<p>I have roughly a 3.5 Weighted GPA with several B-/B in very difficult courses. Therefore, my unweighted is around 3.0. </p>
<p>Which is better?</p>
