Class Schedule HELP - math

<p>My Calso is this Friday and I have no idea what to take T.T</p>

<p>I wanna major in business/econ.
I know that I want to take a math class during my first year, but I don't know if I should take Math 1A/1B or Math 16A/16B.
I heard that 16 is a lot easier than 1, but will taking 1 be significantly better for me later on for Haas or other graduate schools?
I took 150 Calculus A/B from CSUF during my senior year of hs and the teacher really sucked so I am not very good.
On the otherhand, I think that 1A/1B uses the same textbook that I used for CSUF class and i managed to get an A in the class.
I need some advice.. thanks..</p>

<p>If you are planning on going to Haas, they only care about what grades you get and not what courses you take. 1A/1B is based on theory so it’s going to be about your understanding of the concept more than anything. I would suggest you take 16 series because it will be a lighter load especially given the other prereq classes you need to take. If you’re concerned about the price of the book, you should go to half.com; they have pretty cheap books.</p>
