class schedule picking situation

Okay, I’ll be a senior next year, and there are several options I can choose from:

1.AP Spanish 5
AP English Lit.
AP Chem (2 periods)
AP Gov (US)
AP Calc AB
physics

This is a really challenging schedule with 3/5 AP’s requiring summer work.

2.AP Spanish 5
AP English Lit
AP Chem (2 periods)
AP Gov (US)
AP Calc AB
AP Physics

This is a moderately more challenging schedule, but I really love science and want to take as much science as possible

3.take a course at Ohio State, which would reduce the number of AP’s I have and would lower my gpa since it wouldn’t add any weight like AP’s do.

Take a study hall in place of phsyics in schedule #1. I would have a study hall on monday, wednesday and every other friday if I don’t take a study hall (built into AP chem), but if #2 I wouldn’t have any study hall at all

I would go with option #2. I like science, and I have a similar schedule, so it's definitely feasible:
AP Spanish 5------ IB German 5
AP English Lit------ IB English
AP Chem (2 per)--- IB Chemistry/IB Biology
AP Gov (US)------ IB History
AP Calc AB------- AP Calc BC
AP Physics-------- AP Physics C
I think that you should do fine with schedule #2. If, on the other hand, you really want to take a course at Ohio State, do so. Of course, if you're worried about it damaging your GPA, then find a great summer program; many colleges offer them. :)

Thanks a lot...I'm definetly leaning towards that schedule, and your schedule is like the IB version of mine. :)
