Class Schedule R day?

<p>On the fall 08 class schedule, there are classes that take place on M, T, W, TR, and F (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday). However, there are classes that take place on R*.</p>

<p>R apparently stands for random. However, does that mean that the class can take place at any time over the week? If so, that makes little sense seeing as how you'd have to take out time for each day over the week in case the class takes place that day. Is that really how it works?</p>

MWF is mon weds fri
TR is tues thurs</p>
