What are the recommended courses I should take during the fall quarter of my freshman year?
Chem 2A? Math 21A? Feedback would be helpful

If you go to Orientation, your Orientation Leader will help you with all of this. What’s your major?

I’m not going to make it to Orientation. My major is going to be Biology-related with a minor in something business-related

My advice would be:
Chemistry 2a (if you can get in)
Math 17a/21a (if you’re considering a physical science or engineering, take 21)
Econ 1a or 1b

I would recommend 15-16 units because 13 units puts you at a disadvantage for the next pass time; the more units you have the earlier you can choose classes.

I’d recommend:
Biology 2A
Math 17A/21A (Like above)
2 GEs

This puts you at 16 units.

For what it’s worth, both of my roommates are in bio majors (NPB and Biochem) and these were their fall schedules:

NPB:
CHE 2A
MAT 17A
ANT 1
FRS (don’t know number)

Biochem:
CHE 2A
MAT 17A
PHI 1 (I think. Not sure what number)
Think she might’ve had a freshman seminar too

So basically, what’s been said above: Chem or bio, calculus, and a GE. Maybe a seminar.
