<p>Later this month, you should receive a packet with the gen ed requirements and major-specific recommendations as well, and information about seminars (if you’re in the college and applied) should pop up soon online if you got in. You should have until mid-July to register and submitting earlier won’t make a difference.</p>
<p>Essentially, you get what is left over after Class of 2011-13 has picked, but a lot of classes (like Problem of God) have many spots reserved for freshmen or simply are predominantly freshmen (like Calc 1) because others would have taken them by now. You get to “pre-register” and put in primary course requests and alternate course requests (put them down, seriously, and make sure they’re classes you want). You can look around at classes you’d like and then sign up for ones with room. You can also see that some classes have waitlists, even if they have empty spots - these classes pluck people off the waitlist and admit them randomly. When you’re sure you’re done and satisfied, you can submit the requests. Eventually, come orientation, you’ll actually register and then you’ll know what all of your classes are.</p>
<p>Recently the admissions sent me a final grade letter by email, but it was not an attachment in the email, so I can’t print it out. Did you guys get the final report form by mail?</p>
