Class Sit - In?

<p>I am really interested in stony brook, but I'm sort of intimidated by the huge class sizes. Is there any way to do a class sit in, and attend a class as a prospective student? Or do you have to be accepted before you do it?</p>

<p>Also, can you choose which class you want to attend? When do they schedule them (summer, fall only, spring only, etc.)</p>

<p>Yes, typically we do it in the spring once we’ve sent out admissions decisions; it usually runs from mid-march through the end of April.</p>
